No two trees are the same

The forest breathes.
Listen.
It answers,
I have made this place around you.
If you leave it, you may come back again, saying Here.

I love this drawing of my children when they were quite small. In winter we would sit under an aged coniferous tree in our yard. We would sit under this tree for long periods of time to rest from playing. It seemed magical to be there, sheltered under the branches breathing in the scent of pine. So serene.

The David Wagoner poem seems to speak so perfectly to this special moment in time....."No two trees are the same to Raven....No two branches are the same to Wren." and no trees or branches have ever felt the same way to me.
